Voice and Data

As the name implies, point to point cabling means that you’re connecting the cable from one point to another. Each piece of equipment has its own cable, and this traditional data cabling is suitable for small systems such as small offices or buildings.

CCTV System

CCTV systems use security cameras to capture video footage of a facility in a continuous recording. The explicit footage is sent to a recording device (digital video recorder or network video recorder) and stored for future reference.

Fiber Optic System

Structured cabling design and installation is governed by a set of standards that specify wiring data centers, offices, and apartment buildings for data or voice communications using various kinds of cable, most commonly Category 5e (Cat 5e), Category 6 (Cat 6), and fiber-optic cabling and modular connectors. These standards define how to lay the cabling in various topologies in order to meet the needs of the customer, typically using a central patch panel (which is often mounted in a data cabinet), from where each modular connection can be used as needed. Each outlet is then patched into a network switch (normally also rack-mounted) for network use or into an IP or PBX (private branch exchange) telephone system patch panel.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV), also known as video surveillance, is the use of closed-circuit television cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place on a limited set of monitors. It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ point-to-point, point-to-multipoint (P2MP), or mesh wired or wireless links. It comes with video/media storage device (DVR, NVR or NAS for footage storage and for playback purposes.


Access Control is a method of security that controls access both physically and virtually unless authentication credentials are provided. ‘Virtual’ Access Control limits connections to computer networks and data, using passwords and pin codes. ‘Physical’ Access Control is a means of controlling who and when a person can enter an area, location or building using a secure authentication method such as an ID card or biometric identification.
